this area. The history of the town which goes back to 1395, the self-
consciousness, the way of Cumanian thinking and the fostering of progressive cultural
traditions becomes part of the attitude of the inhabitants from the early
childhood.
The public library keeps live
contact with cultural and educational institutions and non-profit organisations
in preserving the historical past and satisfying educational and cultural
needs. According to the modern information society we would like to offer a
modern quality service in compliance with the needs the visitors of our
